Nord Stream Launches YouTube Channel
May 12, 2011 | Zug | Highlights of the construction of the 1,224 kilometre Nord Stream Pipeline through the Baltic Sea can now be followed on the video-sharing website YouTube. The company launched its own corporate video channel today with more than a dozen videos that, among other topics, demonstrate the state-of-the-art technology used for planning, constructing and operating the world’s longest offshore gas pipeline.
“Nord Stream’s YouTube channel complements our newsletters FACTS and e-FACTS by providing regular project updates in vivid clips for the wider public,” said Nord Stream Media Relations Manager Frank Dudley.
The channel includes professionally edited footage such as a video clip of the laying of the last pipe for Line 1 in early May and the comprehensive project overview “Nord Stream in 150 seconds”.
